Hospital Lagoon

This project involved the investigation and remediation planning for a septic release impacting a hospital site in Austin, Texas. The work focused on tracing the suspected flow path of sewage contamination, identifying visible and potentially impacted areas, and developing a staged response plan to remove solids, flush storm sewer lines, treat affected pond areas, and restore impacted green space. The project deck outlines multiple response options, including system flushing, Mega-Bac X spray/soak treatment, Micro-Bac pond treatment, drain and pressure-wash activities, excavation, and pond restoration, with the objective of reducing FOG, addressing sludge and solids, and improving site conditions after the release.
